Yes, we know that billions of people use social media for various reasons. We have seen over the past decade a willingness by people all over the world to feely share their personal information, and in many cases, their very private and deep personal information on social media.
We have also watched on and noted how the socials have monopolized this information and began selling it to advertisers, and various government agencies. Whether one realizes it or not, when using social media, you are the “product”.
This traceable and sellable data now gives the socials the power to manipulate what we do, how we feel, what we buy and what we believe. The consequences of giving the socials this much power is only now becoming apparent with mounting lawsuits against their security breaches and lax privacy settings.
Driveawayz has a very distinct mission in that we are almost
"Anti Social Media"
In that we are building a company with a very wide base, and building it as high as those of us can conceive. Yes, our mission is to drive you in your car where you need to go, but we also have an underlying manifesto regarding the supposed gig economy, workers, and clients rights, and the proper placement of these ideals in our society.
Of course we want your feedback, and deeply care what you think about our company, and our services, and we want you to share freely with us, your friends, family, and coworkers about your experience with us. We only ask that you do this by word of mouth or kind written notes, or emails to friends.
We do not want to give away our customers data, or our any of our personal and professional power to any of the socials.
And for this reason, we have decided from the outset we do not use social media in any way.
